I have been asked to write a little something about Global Warming, but I want to keep it short. In this day and age when we are all being asked to conserve, I don't want to waste anyone's time.
Now I could start off talking about the effects of Global Warming, but I think we all know what it is doing and how it effects us. I will leave that part to the experts, not to a rope spinner that cracks a few jokes.

But I will say that if we don't find a way to get the green light on stopping what we are all doing to our planet... some of you folks in the middle states may just have some nice oceanfront property real soon. Anyhow, I hear talk about a lot of different things we can do to help our planet, and now we are starting to get a good handful of businesses that are turning themselves into GREEN COLLAR workers by the they are doing things.
I think this is the key, personal reasonability. I have lost count of how many times I have seen folks tossing garbage out of cars. Cigarette butts alone make up 75% of what is picked up every year around the USA. If we could just replace the garbage with seeds that plant trees, maybe we could see the forest through the trees on this whole issue. See ever since the beginning of time, we have been chopping down the trees and not planting them. We have been taking from the land and not giving back. Then we found oil, black gold, Texas tea.
Now part of our problem has to do with this Oil Profit Drunk our big boys are on, it makes them dizzy. But like any high, there comes a low, and right now that low is costing us our planet. Now if our oil folks (politicians) would work like they talk and get to developing a new way to energize things, then they would soon see a good return on their investment and MAYBE gain the interest of voters in 2008.
Now all I know is what little I read on the internet, and I see that yesterday we launched our latest space mission, THIS is the first time we have launched a mission on the 4th of July. It also set a record as the biggest bottle rocket shot off as well, second place went to North Korea. They had to add in their 2 cents, or 2 tons of rocket fuel. Don't get me wrong, space travel has a lot of good benefits I am sure, but I have a small idea that we spend as much as we do, about 15 billon a year, to try to get off this planet so we can find another to burn out.
